9.30am 'all age' easter day celebration at thakeham
for those who don't know, 'bcp' stands for the 'book of common prayer' which is basically a service book of extremely traditional language. it lasts for about 20 minutes, but it is really for those who just want a short quiet, traditional communion.
the main service at thakeham today will be an 'all age' easter celebration which means just that - we're trying to provide something for everyone, and of course everyone is welcome - we're basically aiming to make church relevant, interesting and accessible for all.
as it is easter day, we'll be focusing on that and celebrating the risen christ, and what that means for us today - the aim is simple - that together we'll grow and develop on our journey of faith, in a fun, welcoming and hopefully non-threatening environment. the church exists to serve its community, and we'd love to see you at any of our services.
note for lent:
a joint iona communion will be held at thakeham church at 12 noon on wednesday, 16th april.
everyone is very welcome and we look forward to sharing this special time with you.
